genuinely insane to me that the vampire chronicles used to be universally known as the “no fanfiction unless you wanna die by lawsuit” fandom and now it’s got a tv show where the central premise is the characters are all writing fanfiction about eachother and everyone’s interrograting the text from the wrong perspective
Just hear me out… Stargate: SG-1 - book club edition. Where Sg-1 visits alien planets and encounters the characters and plots of classic literature. Someone ought to write that.

I’m often struck by the thought that even if Hozier hadn’t made it in music, the likelihood of him becoming famous as a dril-level internet cryptid comedian was still extremely high

So many people are speculating about Eddie being committed for his mental health by the end of the season, hence the isolation. Or there is talk about his parents taking Chris, sometimes even with Buck’s help.
Am I the only one who thinks that the show would never go there as it would take things too far?
Right now the man is thinking of having an affair with a woman who looks like his dead wife. A little ‘off’ for him sure, but he’s still fully sane. He’s just making some really bad decisions. None of that certainly warrants anyone taking his kid or him being committed.
He will certainly go through it and this situation will blow up in his face, but I don’t think it’ll be as dramatic as some people seem to think it’ll be.
The isolation will probably be of his own making. Like the time when he had his breakdown. He’ll feel lost for a while. He has just been forced to let go of the image of Shannon and the perfect marriage. But what then? This has been a part of him for so long. Now he’ll have to learn to live without Shannon’s shadow looming over his life. All change is difficult.
In the end he’ll crawl out of that deep pit as a new man, ready for a new start in life.
“and he loves him to the core.” To the core. It’s so solid, runs so deep. Buck is in the marrow of his bones, in Eddie’s fucking blood staining the asphalt. Eddie’s bleeding out asking “are you hurt” like the hole in his chest doesn’t matter as long as Buck is okay.
